it is assigned sequentially by a specific computer programme during
manufacturing.
The installer code leaves the factory with the value 9999 and can be
changed using the console through the change access key option. The
console automatically assigns this value by re-encrypting its access code.
The installation code leaves the factory with the value 1111 and can be
changed using the console through the installation personalisation option.
The console will request a new 4-figure installation code.
All 250, 500 or 100-code ROLLER memories leave the factory perfectly
tested and checked with a standard ROLLER code that corresponds to:
4-figure installer code ( 9999 ) + 4-figure installation code ( 1111 ) +
Indexation code of the codes it contains
The ROLLER console can change the installer and installation code by
choosing the installation personalisation option, as with the ROLLER
transmitters.
The Indexation Code cannot be changed by the console. Only the ROLLER
receiver can update it upon receiving each new entry or when the memory
is erased.
The ROLLER console leaves the factory with the six-figure access code
9 9 9 9 9 9 t h a t c o r r e s p o n d s t o t h e s t a n d a r d R O L L E R c o d e .
INSTALLATION PERSONALISATION
To personalise installations, a new installer and installation code must be
recorded both in the transmitters required and on the memory card
corresponding to the installation to be affected.
The ROLLER console provides two levels of personalisation:
1º - Acting only on the four-figure installation code and maintaining the
installer code 9999, providing a maximum of 9999 different possible
installations.
To implement this option, keep the last four figures of the console access
code as 9999, changing only the first two: XX9999.
This option, despite being limited in the number of possible combinations,
has the advantage of being able to de-personalise previously personalised
transmitters or memories, as the standard code can be recovered. This is
very useful for small-scale installers wishing to personalise their installations
by assigning a number, although maintaining the standard ROLLER installer
code.
2º - Acting on the installer code and the installation code to provide over
one hundred million different possible combinations.
To implement this option, the console access code must be changed for an
individual, six-figure code and a number must also be assigned to the
installations affected.
This option is very interesting for installers of a certain size who require
their own product that cannot be changed by others or when they wish
to control the security of their installations to a full. It is not possible to
recover the standard code on previously personalised transmitters or
memories.
To be able to personalise the console, a series of functions are provided
that a grouped into a general menu accessed after entering the access
code.
