Hold your camera firmly with both hands. When holding
the camera vertically, keep the flash upward.

When you are holding your camera and your finger is on
the flash , the flash possibly be blocked. Hold your cam-
era correctly.

If you want your subject in a magnified size, press in the
- upper side of the Zoom Lever for a telephoto shot.
If you want a wider field of view, press in the lower side of
the Zoom Lever for a wide-angle shot.

Your camerais capable of zooming the lens further ta-
ward the wide-angle direction from the position where
the lens is set when the power turns on .

A : AF (Autofocus) frame
Aim at the subject so thal it fills the whole AF frame .

Press in the Shutter Release halfway. If the AF Lamp
(green) lights, the subject has been focused completely.
:;: White the Shutter Release is pressed halfway. the type
of fi lm and film speed appear in the main LCD.

When you are too close to the subject, the AF Lamp
(green) will blink to give you a warning.

When you are closer than about 50 cm , the AF Lamp
lights but the subject will not be focused sharply.

When the shutter trips, the flash fires , the film advances
to the next frame , and the main LCD will indicate the

ber of unexposed frames for about 5 seconds.
