7. Battery cover - Pull back gently on this
cover at the ribbing and pry upwards
to remove.
8. Battery compartment - Insert a standard
AA (LR6) alkaline battery here, being
sure to observe the plus and minus
polarity markings shown. Although
rechargeable Ni-Cad batteries can be
used, they do not supply adequate
current for more than four hours of
operation.
WARNING: Do not insert the battery
backwards; doing so can cause severe
damage to the AG8 and will void your
warranty.
Note: Attention should be drawn to
the environmental aspects of battery
disposal.
9. Gain control - This miniature trimmer
is used to fine tune the AG8's
input sensitivity. Use the included
screwdriver to make the adjustments.
