Adjustment of spring tension

If the spring power has been increased check that the required length of the
hose can be drawn out without stretching the spring to the limit.

Maintenance
See Figure 8. The following maintenance is recommended to be accomplished
regularly or at least once a year.
•
Check the spring function by testing if the hose recoils properly.
•
Check that swivel and hose couplings don't leak. Change the seal if
required. Clean the swivel and couplings.
•
Check that the hose is intact. Clean the hose if it is oiled or dirty.
•
Check the reels ratchet mechanism.
•
Check the mounting of the reel on wall or ceiling. Read
Chapter '5 Connection to the pipework system' before carrying out
maintenance.

Repair instructions
WARNING!
Before starting any operation in the reel:
1. Turn off the supply of air/water/oil/grease.
2. Neutralize the spring power by removing the hose-stop and let the hose
recoil.
Instructions for hose fitting, see Chapter '8 Hose fitting'. Instructions for
changing the spring cassette, swivel or seal comes with each spare part.

Ordering spare parts
When ordering spare parts always state the following:
•
Part number and control number (see the product identification plate).
•
Detail number and name of the spare part (see www.nederman.com).
•
Quantity of the parts required.

Recycling
The product has been designed for component materials to be recycled.
Its different material types must be handled according to relevant local
regulations. Contact the distributor or Nederman if uncertainties arise when
scrapping the product at the end of its service life.
