Retrofit Procedure
Step 1
Remove the following components:
belt guard
drive belt
engine brace
basic compressor (pump)
*
motor / engine pulley
discharge line
*
unloader line
*
tank fitting
*
*
plastic caps (3) on belt guard retainers
re-usable parts
Step 2
Apply thread sealant to the threads of the
relief valve / check valve assembly and
install it into the tank as shown. Apply
thread sealant to the original tank fitting
and install it into the relief valve / check
valve assembly.
Step 3
Install the bottom pan of the belt guard by
fitting the pan slots over the belt guard
retainers on the tank. The retainers may
need to be bent slightly to allow the bottom
pan to slip between them and the tank. (Do
not overbend.)
Step 4
Place plastic belt guard caps over the re-
tainers on the tank. The bottom pan should
fit snuggly against the tank.
