Slot time (alarm) set to 0:00:00 :
If the slot time (alarm) is set to 0:00:00 , the Slot
timer acts like a Sum timer. If the assigned switch is
still at the ON position, the timer continues to count
upwards.
18.3.1.
Example: monitoring the slot time
(time limit)
For our example we assume the following:
The slot time is ten minutes.
The time is to start the first time the stick is moved.
Preparing the slot timer:
a. Assigning the switch
Menu L, Assignment , Switches ,

¶¶Interval
In our example the Slot timer starts when the stick
is moved forward (towards full-throttle) for the first
time.

Once you have selected the Alarm line, you can
select the alarm number by pressing the 3-D digi-
adjuster, and set the time by turning the adjuster.
Now press the 3-D digi-adjuster repeatedly until
Alarm
is highlighted. This concludes the set-up
procedure.
Line 1: Time
This is the period which has elapsed since the
timer started (in our example 3 min 24 sec). If you
select this field, you can reset the time to the set
alarm time by pressing the REV/CLR button.
Line 2: Alarm = Slot time
This is where the slot time is displayed and ad-
justed (in the above example: ten minutes).
Line 3: Difference (display only!)
At this point the time represents the difference bet-
ween time and alarm; this value also appears in
Status display 3. The arrow before the difference
in-dicates the direction of running of the timer:
'
Timer counting up

Timer counting down
Line 4: Switch (display only!)
At this point the screen displays the switch which is
used to control the timer ( ‡ ), and the location of
the "ON" position ( ' = forward). If the switch is in
the selected ON position, the timer runs, and an
asterisk "*" appears after the arrow.

Using buttons H and M for Timer functions:
There are two methods of using the buttons "H" and
"M". One of the two modes is activated according to
the mode of operation you set in the Switch field at
the assignment stage:
1. Change-over (toggle) " ... ":
Press button = timer runs
Press button again = timer stops.
2. Momentary " „ ":
Press button = timer runs
Release button = timer stops.

18.4.
This timer adds (sums) times. The timer runs con-
stantly as long as the assigned switch is in the ON
position.
Important: Timer status is stored
The timer status (e.g. residual motor run time) is
stored when the model memory is changed or you
switch the transmitter off.
18.4.1.

Example: recording motor run time

For this example we assume the following:
The motor is controlled using switch G (throttle
switch for an electric motor).
The full-throttle switch position is forward.
Preparing the Sum timer:
a. Assign the switch (
