Storage
•
Store the ladder out of the reach of children.
•
The base crossbeams can be removed for
storage. Store the base crossbeams
together with the ladder.
•
Storage of the ladder is only envisaged in
the following positions:
Stepladder
Do NOT stand between the front and rear ladder sec-
tions (e.g. in a straddle position).
•
Do not stand on the upper two rungs.
•
Do not use the stepladder to climb up to another
level.
•
Maximum number of persons on the ladder: 1
Straight ladder
•
Do NOT stand on the upper three rungs of the ladder.
•
A correct set-up angle of about 75 degrees should be
observed.
•
Be especially careful if you position the ladder more steeply
and thus at a lower height, since the base crossbeams are not
in contact with the wall at these angles of attack.
•
Lean the straight ladder against a level, solid surface. Secure
the ladder before use, e.g. by fastening or using a suitable
device to ensure stability.
•
Straight ladders for access to a greater height should be extended at
least 1m beyond the contact point.
•
Do not climb off a straight ladder at a greater height without additional
safeguards. For example, fastening or using a fixing or a suitable device
to ensure stability.
