IV CARE AND MAINTENANCE
1) Servicing
Note: To ensure safety and maintain the components in good working condition, you
must have your electric bike periodically checked by your vendor:
Additionally, maintenance of your bike must be performed regularly by a qualified technician.
Initial servicing: 1 month or 150 km
- Checking the tightening of the components: crank, wheel, stem, pedals, handlebars, seat clamp,
- Checking the operation of the transmission and assistance,
- Checking and adjusting the brakes
- Voltage and/or truing of the wheels.
Every year or 2000km
- Checking levels of wear (brake pads, transmission, tyres),
- Inspection of bearings (bottom bracket, wheels, steering, pedals),
- Inspection of cables (brakes, derailleur),
- Inspection of lights,
- Voltage and/or truing of the wheels.
Every 3 years or 6000km
- Changing the transmission (chain, freewheel, chainwheel),
- Changing the tyres,
- Checking wheel wear (spokes, rim)
- Voltage and/or truing of the wheels
- Changing the brake pads
- Inspection of electrical functions.
2) General maintenance
Your bike requires regular maintenance for your safety but also to increase its service life. It is important
to check the mechanical parts periodically and replace parts showing wear if need be (oil the chain
regularly, brush the sprockets and the chainrings, periodically add a few drops of oil in the brake and
derailleur cable sheaths and clean the brake pad's rubber, periodically check the tyres for signs of wear,
cuts, cracks and pinches and replace the tyre if necessary, check the rims for signs of excessive wear,
warping, impacts, cracks, etc.).
The battery must be removed before any maintenance intervention.
When replacing components, it is important to use original parts in order to preserve the performance
and reliability of the bike. Ensure you use the appropriate replacement parts when it comes to tyres,
tubes, transmission elements, and the different elements of the braking system.
Cleaning
In order to prevent corrosion, it is necessary to rinse your bike with soft water after each use, especially
if it has been exposed to sea air.
Cleaning must be performed with a sponge, a bucket of warm soapy water as well as a water jet (not
pressurised). Make sure you do not use a jet of pressurised water. Clean rim flanks and brake pads with
alcohol or acetone.
Lubrication
Lubrication is essential on the different moving components to avoid corrosion. It must be done regularly
on ball bearings located in the axis of the wheels, chain, derailleur and control cables.
It is advisable to use a specific oil for the chain and the derailleur. Grease must be used for the other
components.
Regular check-ups
The tightening of the bolts: lever, crank, pedals, stems.
The tightening torques to be applied are as follows:
105
Components
Recommended torque (N.m)
Pedals on cranks
Crank on casing
Stem tightening
Headset tightening
Brake lever
Brake calipers
Seat on clamp
Seat post clamp
Motorised wheel/non-motorised wheel
Carrier racks
The other tightening torques depend on the size of the nuts: M4: 2.5 to 4.0 N.m., M5: 4.0 to 6.0 N.m.,
M6: 6.0 to 7.5 N.m. Tighten the screws on evenly to the recommended torque.
V AFTER-SALES SERVICE
1) Wear parts
The different wear parts are standard components. Always replace worn parts and/or replace them with
identical commercially available components or from your dealer.
2) Applicable warranty
We have taken the greatest care in designing and manufacturing your bike so that it gives you complete
satisfaction. Nevertheless, if it appears your product is faulty, you will be covered by a commercial
warranty from the date of purchase:
• Lifetime warranty on the frame
• 2 years for the motor.
• 1 year for parts, excluding parts that are subject to wear (tyres, tubes, brake pads, handles, seat,
cables).
• 2 years for lithium batteries
(Bring your used battery back to your dealer, it will be recycled!)
To avail of this warranty, the user must present the product to the distributor, along with the sales
receipt or purchase invoice.
This warranty, applicable in the country of purchase, covers all defects of the product that do not allow
normal use. It does not cover defects resulting from poor maintenance, improper use, or if the
manufacturer's recommendations have not been observed. The warranty does not cover normal wear
of parts associated with the use of the product.
The guarantor is: contact: www.norauto.com.
The commercial warranty provided above does not in any way limit the buyer's right to claim warranty
for hidden defects or non-compliance, as provided for in the different European countries. For more

3) Operation and troubleshooting
Lithium batteries
(1)The red charger light does not work while charging.
- Check that the connectors are properly connected.
(2)The redcharger light does not turn green.
- Turn off the power, then connect it to the mains after 5 seconds, it can continue to charge.
(3)The red charger light immediately turns green.
