VALVE PUSHER GAP

The gap should be checked when the engine is in cool con-
dition.
1. Dismount the inner-gauged engine cap, the motor cap and
the cylinder pap.
2. Tum the rotor anti-clockwise till the TL' mark (it is above
left cylinder) aligns mark (2) on the inner-gauged cap. Opera-
tor can touch the pusher with finger to make the left piston

to situate the top of compressing stroke. If left cylinder pus-
her can be freely acted, it shows that left cylinder has been on
the top of compressing stroke.
If not, turn the crank by 360° and realign it.
3. Gauge meter is inserted between screw (4) and valve lever,
to inspect the gap of left and right valve.
4. Standard distance of valves: inhalation stroke 0.08mm; ex-
haust stroke 0.08mm.
5. For any adjustments, loosen the lock nut (5) and turn the
screw (4). After adjustments, tighten up the lock nut (5), then
measure the gap. Turn the rotor by 180° anti-clockwise till
the TR' mark (it is on right cylinder) is aligned the inner-gau-
ged cap(2).
6. Gap adjustment of right cylinder valve pusher could be do-
ne according to method of 3 and 4 in the above statement.
