USE AND MAINTENANCE
Insert the two prongs into the slots as shown in Figure 2A and make sure that the two clips are locked. Gently
pull in the opposite direction to check for a secure fastening of the buckle.
Once this has been done, it should no longer be possible to remove the helmet. Make sure that the helmet cannot
be removed and remains firmly on the head when grabbing it from the back and pulling it to the front (fig. 1 A).
If the helmet falls or rotates freely on the head, adjust the length of the strap as shown in the following
paragraph. Then tighten the strap until you get the right pressure. Repeat the test.
If after repeating the test, the fastening system fails to tighten effectively, refrain from using the helmet.
If the unfastening system does not work properly, refrain from using the helmet and contact Suomy
authorised staff.
To release the buckle press the two tabs as shown in figure 2 B to disengage the buckle.
Use the release tab only to remove the helmet! Never unlock the release tab while using the helmet.
ADJUSTING THE STRAP LENGTH
Adjust the proper length of the strap by sliding it into the buckle until you get a proper pressure on the chin when
buckle is fastened.
After checking the correct tension of the strap, secure the free end by inserting the remaining part of the strap
into the appropriate rubber ring (fig. 3). This secures the free end of the strap and prevents it from flapping.
