Start the engine.
Make sure that the light switch is in posi-
tion "
".
The minimum speed of the engine (idling)
must be about 1300 ± 100 rpm,
50 rpm; in this case the engine does not
make the rear wheel rotate.
If necessary:
NOTE
The vehicle can be fitted with differ-
ent carburettor and throttled body models.
For the positioning of the adjuster, see the
figure.
Act on the adjusting screw (1) positioned
on the carburettor.
NOTE
Do not act on the air adjusting screw
(2), to avoid variations of the carburation
setting.
By SCREWING IT (clockwise), you increase
the engine rpm.
By UNSCREWING IT (anticlockwise), you
decrease the engine rpm.
Twist the throttle grip, accelerating and
decelerating a few times to make sure that
it functions correctly and to check if the
idling speed is constant.

see p. 38 (POSITIONING THE VEHICLE

Remove the protection element (3).
Loosen the nut (4).

After the adjustment:
Tighten the nut (4), thus locking the ad-

WARNING
After the adjustment, make sure that the
rotation of the handlebar does not modify
the engine idling rpm and that the throt-

cally to its original position after being
released.
