Storing your system
Store your meter, test strips, control solution and other
items in your carrying case. Keep in a cool, dry place
between 41°F and 86°F. Keep all items away from direct
sunlight and heat.
Cleaning and disinfection
Cleaning and disinfection are different and both should
be performed. Cleaning is part of your normal care
and maintenance and should be performed prior to
disinfection, but cleaning does not kill germs. After use
and exposure to blood, all parts of this kit can potentially
transmit infectious diseases. Disinfection is the only way
to reduce your exposure to disease. For cleaning
