10. MAINTENANCE
WARNING! Before any intervention, check that the pump is disconnected from the mains power supply and that is not live.
The figures in brackets refer to the position and can be found in the side section. Preventive control and maintenance, if carried out regularly, ensure
the best operation. The pump should be checked every six months, more often in difficult operating conditions.
Problem
The pump does not work or
does not work properly
The pump does not give the
desired performance
10.1 DIFFUSER ADJUSTMENT*
1 - Loosen the 4 or 6 self-locking nuts (depending on the models) that hold the pump base in place.
2 - Remove the mantle.
3 - Remove the sleeves and with a wrench act on the nuts that adjust the distance of the diffuser from the impeller, adjust until you reach the mini-
mum distance between the impeller blades and the bottom of the diffuser.
NB try to make this adjustment so that the distance is the same in the various recording angles.
4 - Reassemble everything in reverse order.
WARNING!
Threaded guide pins can be sharp, be careful not to cut yourself.
10.2 REPLACING THE IMPELLER*
1 - Follow the descriptions on the "diffuser adjustment" up to point 2.
2 - Remove the sleeves and with a wrench act on the nuts that hold the diffuser in place and unscrew them completely.
3 - Remove the diffuser.
4 - Loosen the impeller locking screw located in the centre of the impeller.
5 - Remove the impeller and fit a new one.
6 - Make sure that the impeller locking screw is tightened.
7 - Reassemble everything in reverse order.
WARNING!
If the impeller is worn, its edges can be sharp. Be careful not to cut yourself.
10.3 CHANGING THE OIL*
1) Loosen the nuts and remove the plate.
2) Remove the mantle from the pump.
WARNING!
The oil may be under pressure in the sump. Hold a cloth over the oil cap and open with caution, to avoid splashing.
3) Unscrew the oil cap and drain the oil into a clean container. Check the oil.
WARNING!
Do not dispose of used oil in the environment.
Refill with clean oil. Use "white" oil with 15 cST viscosity, for example B.EnerparM002 or equivalent.
Always replace the O-ring (O) Ring (29) on the oil cap. Refit the cap.
Reassemble in reverse order.
WARNING!
If the impeller is worn, its edges can be sharp. Be careful not to cut yourself.
