A multimedia message is indicated by
picture. Your phone supports multimedia messages that are up to 100 KB. Only
compatible devices can receive and display multimedia messages.
The default setting of the multimedia message service is On. The appearance of
a multimedia message may vary depending on the receiving device.
Multimedia messaging supports the following formats:
Picture: JPEG, GIF, WBMP, BMP, OTA-BMP, and PNG
Sound: SP-MIDI, AMR audio, and monophonic ringing tones
Video: 3GP format (H.263 baseline and MPEG-4 simple profile)
If a received message contains unsupported elements, these elements may be
replaced with the file name.
You cannot receive multimedia messages if you have a call in progress, a game
or other Java application running, or an active browsing session over GSM.
Because delivery of multimedia messages can fail for several reasons, do not
rely solely upon them for essential communications.
