LED indicator confirms each entered digit
by a short flash and turns off after 3 valid
digits. Otherwise, the LED will flash
3 times and then remain on for re-entry.

Please try to use the remote control.
lf it doesn't work well, please try other
codes: [002], [003], [004] ...
Note
• No entry for approx. 15 seconds will time
out the set-up mode.
• If the code is invalid, the LED flashes
3 times and then lights up permanently.
• To exit the setup, please press the
[MUTE] key.

5.2 MANUAL CODE SEARCH

1.
Press and hold [MUTE] and [POWER]
keys for approx. 3 seconds until the LED
will be lit.
2.
Press and release [P+] or [P-] key to start
searching the code. Each time you press,
the remote will change to the next code.
3.
Please test if the [POWER], [VOL+],
[MENU], [0-9] keys work well. If ok,
please press the [MUTE] key to save the
code and exit.
4.
If it doesn't work well, repeat the fast
search by pressing the [P+] or [P-] key.
Note
At the set-up mode, only the [POWER],
[VOL+], [MENU], [0-9] keys are working.
5.3 CODE INQUIRY
Use the following method to find out which
code is currently set:
1.
Press and hold [MUTE] and [POWER]
keys for approx. 3 seconds until the LED
will be lit.
2.
Enter the code [9] [9] [0] (The LED will
flash once for each enter) with the
number keys. The LED will flash twice
and goes off.
3.
Press the key [1] for the 1st digit of the
code. The LED will start to flash.
Count the LED flashes. The number of
flashes resemble the code's first digit.
Repeat this procedure for the 2nd and
3rd digit of the code:
2nd digit -> press the key [2] -> count
LED flashes
3rd digit -> press the key [3] -> count
LED flashes
If code number is 0 the LED will not flash.
After the LED has indicated the third digit
it will turn off.
5.4 Compatible Remote Control Model
Due to too many Remote Control models, we
only Iist some of them below. lf your remote
control is similar to the drawing, the replacement
remote can control your TV (Page 74).

6. LEARN MODE

This remote control is equipped with a learning
function. Thus, you could learn functions of
your original remote to this remote control.
6.1 BEFORE STARTING LEARN MODE
• The batteries in the two remote controls
have to be in good condition. Replace them
if necessary.
• Place the remote controls with the infrared
diodes so that they point towards each
other.
• Where necessary adjust the height of both
remotes so that infrared diodes are properly
aligned.
• The distance between the remote controls
should be about 3 cm.

Note
• Do not move the remote controls during
the learning procedure.
• Ensure that the room is not lit by
fluorescents tubes or low energy
consumption lamps since such light
sources could interfere with the copying.
• The 2 remote controls must be at least
1 meter away from any light source.
• During learning mode, if no key is
selected for more than 15 seconds, the
learning mode will exit automatically or
if no other remote signal is received.
• Each function key will hold only one
command. A new command to be learned
will automatically replace the previous one.
6.2 ENTER LEARN MODE
1. Press and hold the [MUTE] and [VOL+]
keys for approx. 3 seconds until the LED
will be lit.
2. Enter the code [9] [8] [0], the LED will flash
2 times and then remain on.
3. The remote control is now ready to learn
new commands.
6.3 LEARNING OF KEYS
1. Press and release the desired key on the
original remote control which you want the
command to be learned. The LED at your
replacement remote will flash to confirm
that the information has been received.
2. Then press and release the target key on
the remote control you want learned.
