1.4 MOUNTING BRACKET (FA 20 706 00) –
This bracket is used to affix the rail system to the receiving structure (concrete wall or metal surface) - see Fig. 4. The receiving structure must be drilled
so that the mounting bracket can be affixed with 16 mm fastenings.
This gives the rail greater stability.
Fastenings: 1 Hex Head Bolt (provided).
weight : 1,16 kg.
Hex Head Bolt
Material: 316 stainless steel
Tools needed: 17 mm spanner wrench.
Installation : Install two mounting brackets per rail.
• The mounting bracket (FA 20 706 00) can be installed on different receiving structures (metal, concrete, etc.) with specific fasteners.
• Chemical fixation must be used to install the mounting bracket on concrete (not provided).
• For metal structures, stainless steel fasteners must be used (not provided).
• The shorter end of the mounting bracket is affixed to the rail with a fastening nut (see §1.1). The longer end is affixed to the receiving structure
with a suitable fastener (Fig. 4).
1.5 RUNG CLAMP (FA 20 705 00) –
The aluminium rail is installed directly onto the rungs of a ladder using mounting accessories.
The rung clamp helps hold the aluminium rail against the ladder rungs.
Weight: 1.16 kg
Material: 316 stainless steel
Tools needed: 17 mm spanner wrench.
Installation: Install two rung clamps per rail.
• Insert the T screws into the aluminium rail and slide them to the point where the counterplate will be mounted.
• Make sure that the first counterplate is about 30 cm from the lower edge of the rail.
• Place the T screws on each side of the rung.
• Behind the rung, place the counterplate with separator on the T screws (Fig. 5).
• Screw the bolts in so that the counterplate is firmly positioned against the rung.
• The aluminium rail is now affixed to the rung. Repeat this process every 1.50 m.
Tightening torque: max.42 N/m.
