Fit 2 x spacer plates, small one first, followed by larger one and secure using 2 off M6 x 14 skt
cap hd screws and 2 off M6 washers. Tighten to a torque of 16Nm. (Fig 7).

Feed gaiter over seat stem, pull gaiter over lip of spacer plate. Push gaiter over mounting
studs and secure with 2 x M5 washer & dome nuts (Fig 8).
10.
Place chair on top of seat stem, feed loom through top of stem. Secure chair to stem using 4
off M6 x 14 skt cap hd screws and 4 off M6 washers. Tighten to a torque of 16 Nm. NOTE
Fore and Aft adjustment is available (Fig 9).

Connect chair loom to carriage loom inside of gaiter. Push gaiter over mounting studs and se-
cure with 2 x M5 washer & dome nuts (Fig 10).

Remove the wooden seat back, to gain access to the chair loom. Please note all Sadler chairs
leave the factory configured as left hand, any Right hand installation will need rehanding to
ensure the footrest always operates from the downside arm. Refer to connection drawing
2609375 .

Fit saddle upholstery to chair frame, locate hook on saddle to slot in front of chair frame (Fig
11).
14.
Secure using 2 off M6 x 14 skt cap hd screws and 2 off M6 washers. Tighten to a torque of
16Nm (Fig12).
15.
Fit back upholstery to chair back, using location studs and secure using 2 off dome nuts.
NOTE ensure top of upholstery is fitted flush with curve of cut out in wooden frame .

Fit radio receiver to chair back

Fit immobiliser seatbelt as per fitting instructions supplied with seatbelt kit.
On completion of the installation, it is essential that you get the end user to use the stairlift, paying
particular attention to any clash points i:e knees, bulkhead etc. Also make sure the user is comfort-
able on the seat, you may need to change the seat stem to achieve this.
