1. Important instructions retain for
future use
• Read the information carefully.
• This appliance is not intended for use in hospitals.
• This heating pad should not be used with persons who are helpless, small children or persons insensitive
to heat (e.g. diabetics, persons with skin changes related to illness or persons with scarred skin in the area
where the pad is to be applied, after taking any medication to relieve pain or after taking alcohol).
• The electrical and magnetic fields emitted by this electrical product can sometimes interfere with the func-
tioning of your heart pacemaker. However, they are far below the limits: electrical field strength max. 5000
V/m, magnetic field strength: max. 80 A/m, magnetic flux density: max. 0.1 millitesla). Please ask your doc-
tor and the manufacturer of your pacemaker before using this product.
• Do not use to warm animals.
• The appliance must be connected only to the stipulated mains voltage.
• Do not use the heating pad in areas of the body that are inflamed, injured or swollen. If in doubt, you should
seek medical advice before use.
• Prolonged use can cause burns on the skin.
• Caution! Never fall asleep while the heating pad is in operation.
• The heating pad must never be used folded or crumpled.
• The electronic elements in the heating pad's switch lead to slight warming of the switch during use. The
switch must therefore not be on top of or covered by the heating pad when it is in use.
• Only use in conjunction with switch types specified on the heating pad.
• Do not operate the heating pad unsupervised.
• Avoid letting the device get kinked sharply.
• Do not pull on the cable, twist or bend it sharply.
• Do not pierce with needles!
• The switch and mains cable should not be exposed to moisture.
• Do not use the heating pad when it is wet.
• Check the appliance frequently for signs of wear or damage. If such signs are in evidence or if the appliance
has been used incorrectly, it must be returned to the manufacturer or dealer before being used again.
• If the mains cable is damaged, it should only be replaced at a repair workshop approved by the manufactur-
er, as special tools are required for the repair.
• Repairs to electrical appliances must be carried out only by trained personnel. Improper repair could result
in considerable risks for the user.
• When not in use, always unplug the appliance from the mains.
• Please follow the cleaning instructions (refer to instructions for cleaning and maintenance).
