CHANGING THE CODES AND FREQUENCY ON KIT PASF 10005 with
optional 2-button roadside panel WEPAPL 20005 and extra handset WEPASFCB 10005
■ BUTTON ROADSIDE PANEL : replace the original 1-button panel by the optional 2-but-
ton panel WEPAPL 10005.
■ CODING : All the units have their own coding system (DIP switch). The roadside panel
and handset are factory coded. Should a neighbour's system have the same code (you
receive each others calls / hear each other's conversations) change the factory-set code as
follows:
1 - Handset :
• HANDSET A : remove the back cover.
Always remove and disconnect the battery ( S ) . Change the position of one or more of the 9 micros-
witches on the DIP switch (use a plastic object such as a pen). Never change the position of micros-
witch 10 (fig. 12) (OFF position).
• HANDSET B : remove the back cover.
Always remove and disconnect the battery ( S ). Change the position of one or more of the
9 microswitches on the DIP switch (use a plastic object such as a pen). Position of micros-
witch 10: ON (fig. 14)
2 - Electronic box (fig. 13): remove the 6 cross-head screws and take off the cover. Always remo-
ve the 4 batteries. As with the handset, change one or more of the 9 microswitches on the DIP
switch, starting from ON ON above the microswitches (use a plastic object such as a pen).
Never change the position of microswitch 1 (fig. 12) (OFF position).
■ FREQUENCY : The frequency of your wireless door phone has been set in the factory.
In some rare instances it may be affected by interference if, for example, a television trans-
mitter, computer, radio controlled toy, or CB are nearby. If this happens, change the facto-
ry-set radio frequencies. To do so, set the toggle microswitches on the handset and the
electronic box to the same positions. They are located to the left of the 10-position DIP
switch on each. To access the code and frequency switches :
• remove the 6 screws then the top cover from the box,
• remove the back cover from the handset.
The table below illustrates the 4 different positions possible for 3 different frequencies.

Important : All the active electronic components are sensitive to human body electrostatic
discharges. Always Always drain the static electricity from your body (such as by touching a finger
to one of the battery contacts – red wire or black wire – in the box or one of the charge contacts on
the handset) before servicing them. Once you have done this, remove the box batteries and the hand-
set battery. After changing the Code or Frequencies, , reinsert the batteries into the box (follow the
polarity markings), reconnect the handset battery and make sure the "I" switch is set to ON. The war-
ranty does not cover any damage resulting from failure to comply with these instructions.
