c. Press the priming pump several times until all fuel left in the fuel return tube is
returned into the fuel tank.

d. Tip the hedge trimmer toward the fuel filler neck again to drain the fuel left in
the fuel tank into the container.
e. Tighten the fuel tank cap securely after draining the fuel completely.
3. Change the engine oil (see page 46).
4. Clean the air cleaner (see page 47).
5. Loosen the flange bolt with a hex wrench, then remove the top cover (see
page 49).
6. Remove the spark plug (see page 49).
7. Apply a couple of drops of clean engine oil into the cylinder.
8. Install the top cover temporarily.
9. Pull the starter grip several times to distribute the oil in the cylinder.
10. Remove the top cover, then reinstall the spark plug.
11. Install the top cover, and tighten the flange bolt securely.
12. Pull the starter grip slowly until resistance is felt.
13. Apply oil to the cutter blade.
14. lnstall the cover into the cutter blade.
15. Keep the hedge trimmer out of reach of children, and keep it free from moisture
and dust.
16. Cover the hedge trimmer to keep out dust.
