Cleaning the cabinet

Wipe the front panel and other exterior surfaces
of your TV with a soft cloth lightly dampened with
luke warm water. Never use a solvent or alcohol

Solution
• Check all cable connections.
• Make sure that your TV is plugged in and
turned on.
• Make sure that the power outlet has
electricity.
• Check the volume level and mute setting.
• Switch to another channel to determine
if the current channel is the problem.
• Check the color control and adjust it.
• Check the program's color features
because it may be a black and white
program.
• Switch to another channel to determine
if the current channel is the problem.
• Make sure that the antenna is installed
correctly. If not, adjust the antenna
toward the broadcasting station.
• Check the antenna and its connection. If
there are problems, correct them. If all
connections are tight, the problem may
be with a faulty antenna or cable.
• Check car traffic or neon signs that may
disrupt the image.
• Check for interference from other
electronic devices, such as radios and
televisions, and keep magnetic or
electronic devices away from your TV.
• Remove obstacles between the remote
control and the player. Point the remote
control at your TV's IR sensor.
• Install fresh batteries.
• Adjust the phase control (PC only).
• Adjust the horizontal or vertical controls.
• Unplug the TV from the power outlet for
10 seconds, then plug it back in. If the
problem persists, contact Insignia for
technical assistance.
• A few bright or dark dots on an LCD
screen is normal. It does not affect the
operation of this TV.
This TV must only be repaired by a qualified
service person. Never attempt to remove the back
cover because the TV has dangerous voltages
levels inside that may be fatal or cause a fire.
If the problem cannot be resolved with this guide,
consult with your local authorized service center.
