Safety regulations relating to operation and maintenance are set out in the relevant chapters, and adherence to these regulations is
mandatory.
Damage and consequential damage arising from non-observance of these instructions through improper treatment or using the appliance
for purposes other than those intended will result in claims under the guarantee and liability becoming void.
Do not overfill the tank. Water running down can damage the machine.
Do not let pumps run without cleaning fluid (can be discerned by a rattling noise). This can result in the pumps being destroyed by overheating.
On the other hand a pulsating noise where water levels are set low is normal and depends on the function.
Before opening the water filter, the machine must be completely drained. Catch any remaining water that runs out. Ensure that no water is
splashed inside the machine.
Do not remove safety lid of control system!
Suction of sharp or long solid objects can result in injury or the machine clogging, and must be avoided.

1.1 Improper use

Any type of use of the machine not described in "Proper use" or not contractually agreed is prohibited. The following is especially prohibited:
Use as a towing vehicle, transporter or toy.
Cleaning operation up or down slopes of more than 2%.
Driving or parking on slopes of more than 8%.
Reversing down slopes of more than 8%.
Turning or driving across slopes of more than 2%.
Dry cleaning, removal of hazardous dust.
Suction of inflammable, toxic, corrosive, irritant substances or substances hazardous to health.
Cleaning of textile floor coverings.
Use or storage in the open air under wet conditions.
Any operation of the machine when not in a technically perfect condition or if used without due regard for the following rules is prohibited:
Protective guards must not be dismantled nor bypassed.
Machine may be used only by trained staff.
Children or adolescents may not use the machine.
Conversion or modification of the machine is prohibited.
2. Safety
2.1 Organisation
The operator is responsible for the following:
Operating instructions must be kept handy at all times.
All operators have read and understood the operating manual before using the machine.
In particular, all operators know the safety regulations and what they mean.
All operators have received training specific to the product in the use/handling of the machine.
Conducting periodic examinations of operators and their handling of the machine.
Ensuring that machine is used only by persons who have been expressly commissioned to use the machine.
Ensuring adherence to the acknowledged rules for occupational safety.
Ensuring adherence to any additional statutory or company regulations.
Clearly defining responsibilities for operation, maintenance and repair of the machine and ensuring that these responsibilities are
maintained.
Immediate notification of breakdowns and damage to the service agency.
2.2 Emergency
Apply First Aid immediately and/or summon help.
Switch off machine and remove key switch.
Do not operate machine after an incident – have machine examined by Wetrok or an approved representative!

2.3 Sources of danger

Voltage and current:
Contact with current or voltage carries the risk of electric shock, which can lead to injury or even fatality.
Before carrying out any work on electrical installations, always turn off the machine and isolate the battery voltage by disconnecting the battery
cable.
When charging wet-cell batteries, empty and turn the tank of the machine upside without fail!
No modifications to the 230V wires are permitted! In particular, do not remove or open any electrical
terminals or remove the earth cable. Do not operate appliances with damaged cables!
Regularly check the mains cable for damage and replace, if required.
Machine in motion and moving parts
Drive motion and motion in vicinity of rotating brushes poses the risk of injury.
Do not reach into the brush assembly with your hands or feet.
Never drive the wheels over a person's feet, danger of severe injury!
Ensure that clothes and hair do not contact moving parts.
Users: Tie back any long hair before using machine.
