PART TO BE WELDED
The part to be welded must always be
connected to earth in order to reduce
electromagnetic emission. Much atten-
tion must be afforded so that the earth
connection of the part to be welded does
not increase the risk of accident to the
user or the risk of damage to other elec-
tric equipment.
When it is necessary to connect the part
to be welded to earth, you should make
a direct connection between the part
and the earth shaft. In those countries in
which such a connection is not allowed,
connect the part to be welded to earth
using suitable capacitors, in compliance
with the national regulations.

ATTENTION: parameters shown on
the display in the pictures are purely
meant as an indication.

SOFTWARE VERSION DISPLAY
RAINBOW 200 HF is equipped with a
digital control with software pre-set in
the factory on board. This software is
subject to being continuously evolved
and improved. The software is identified
by a specific number visualized on the
display as follows:
1) Press and keep press-
2) Start up the welder by turning the
main switch to position I
3) The type of software

• ELECTRODE for basic
electrode welding with
automatic "arc force"
and "hot start" devices
OR
• Cr-Ni ELECTRODE for
welding stainless steel
with special characteris-
tics of having a softer
arc
3) Turn the special dial to
adjust to desired weld
current (5÷160 A)
• The GREEN LIGHT I
is on

TIG WELDING
1) Start up the welder by turning the
main switch to position I
2) Press the "weld process" button and
set on:
• TIG "HF" for TIG weld
with high frequency arc
strike
OR
• "Lift" type TIG for "lift"
type TIG weld without
high frequency
