11. SET UP

WARNING: All safety recommendations must be followed
in compliance with the occupational safety and risk pre-
vention regulations of each country.
- Make sure the hopper is properly closed. The distance
between the hopper and the bottom hatch must not ex-
ceed of 1 mm.
- Connect the extension hose to the electrical input of the
machine.
- Check on the screen that the voltage supplied to the ma-
chines stays within the safe operational range and press
START.
- Check that the motor rotates in the right direction. To
reverse the motor rotation, proceed as described in this
manual.
- Press the emergency stop button to stop the machine.

11.1 STARTING TO CRUSH RUBBLE

Once the above points have been understood and practiced,
proceed to perform the first grinding tests to take control of the
machine before operating in production mode.
TELESCOPIC LEGS
Stretch the telescopic legs the extended position to provide
more space in the evacuation area underneath the machine.
Then lock the wheels by pressing the mechanical wheels brake
to avoid unexpected movements.
WORKING POSITION
Each workplace will require a different distribution of the ele-
ments. The most comfortable position the operator to work is
standing with his back to the rubble feed hatch, between the
rubble and the machine, feeding the machine either on the left
or the right side.
FEEDING RUBBLE INTO THE MACHINE
Begin to feed the machine with small amount of rubble, gradua-
lly increasing it while the machine works fluently. Do not over-
feed it to make the motor choke. The amount of rubble to be
fed also depends on the kind of material that is being crushed,
so the operator must adjust also to this parameter.
REMOVING THE RESULTING SAND
The ejected sand falls within the the filter sleeve, whose func-
tion is to reduce dust. As the volume of the sand one grows, it
must be removed with a shovel. Sometimes you must move or
shake the filter sleeve to remove the sand.
