Adjustment work done with safety devices disabled or covers removed must be carried
out by one worker only; when such work is being carried out access to the machine by
unauthorised personnel is prohibited. Prevent dust deposits on the machine, especially
on electric motor and intake filters.
NOTE: Do not direct water jets against the machine (e.g. to clean it); this could
cause short-circuiting!

2.4. Ecology and pollution

2.4.1. Waste management

Use and maintenance of the machine generate waste products that must be disposed
of in compliance with the laws in force in the country where the machine is used.
The user must comply with the instructions regarding routine use, cleaning
and maintenance of the machine provided by the manufacturer.
Any special waste must be disposed of by specialised firms authorised to do so.
Ensure waste is disposed of properly by requesting a "waste disposed of securely"
receipt. For information on how to dismantle the machine see section 4.5.

2.4.2. Informative note for users

The crossed-out wheelie bin symbol on a product means that, at the end of its useful
life, the waste equipment must be collected separately and should not be disposed of
with household waste. A user who wishes/has to dispose of waste electrical equipment
must contact an authorized collection and recycling point or, alternatively, contact the
equipment manufacturer in charge of end-of-life procedures and follow its separate
waste collection recommendations. In case of disposal in a foreign Country, contact the
competent local Authority.
Suitably separate collection of decommissioned equipment for its subsequent recycling,
processing and environmentally sustainable disposal helps minimize the possible
adverse effects on the environment and on human health and promotes the re-use
and/or recycling of the equipment construction materials. Unauthorized disposal of
waste electrical equipment by its owner is punishable with administrative penalties
according to the Law Decree 152/2006 and subsequent amendments or additions.
Product end-of-life disposal procedures must be agreed to by professional users.
