3. IMPORTANT SAFETY WARNINGS
• Before using the appliance for the first time,
read this instructions manual carefully and
keep it for future reference. Only in this way
will you obtain the best results and ensure
optimum safety of use.
• Before using the appliance, make sure the
voltage in your domestic mains supply
corresponds to that indicated for the mixer.
• In the event of the socket being incompatible
with the appliance plug, have the socket
replaced by a qualified professional.
• We recommend that you do not use
adaptors, plugs and/or extension cables.
If the use of said elements is unavoidable,
only use simple or multiple adaptors and
extension cables that comply with current
safety regulations, and take care not to
exceed the power limit indicated on them.
• After removing the packaging, check that the
appliance is in perfect condition. If in doubt,
contact your nearest Technical Assistance
Service.
• The packaging elements (plastic bags,
polystyrene foam, etc.) should be kept out of
the reach of children, since they constitute
potential sources of danger.
• This appliance is designed for domestic
use only. Any other use is considered
inappropriate and therefore dangerous.
• In the event of failure and/or improper
functioning, switch the appliance off and
do not attempt to repair. In the event of

repairs becoming necessary, contact a
Technical Assistance Service authorised by
the manufacturer and request the use of
original spare parts. Failure to do so will
compromise the safety of the appliance.
• The user should never try to replace the
cable. If the cable were to become damaged
or need replacing, this should be carried
out only by a Technical Assistance Service
authorised by the manufacturer. Do not
use the appliance if the cable or plug are
damaged.
• The manufacturer accepts no responsibility
for damage caused by the improper, wrong
or unsuitable use of the appliance, or for
damage caused by repairs carried out by
unqualified persons.
Certain basic rules should be respected when
using any electrical appliance.
PARTICULARLY
• Do not touch or pull on the power cable
while your hands or feet are wet or damp.
• Do not let the cable hang over the edge of
the table or worktop, or come into contact
with hot surfaces.
• Never pull on the cable to unplug the
appliance.
• Unplug the appliance when not in use,
before assembling or disassembling and
before cleaning.
• Do not let children use the appliance.
• This appliance should not be used
by physically, sensorially or mentally
handicapped people or people without
experience or knowledge of it (including
children), unless they are supervised or
instructed in the use of the appliance by a
person responsible for their safety.
• Children should be watched to ensure they
do not play with the appliance.
• For greater protection, we recommend
installing a residual current device (RCD)
with an operational residual current not
exceeding 30 mA. Ask your installer for
advice.
• Do not use the appliance outside.
• To protect against electric shocks, do not
submerge the appliance, the cable or the
plug in water or any other liquid.
