THERMEX THR 100
USE OF THE FAN
The THR 100 Heat Recovery Unit can be operated at two different speeds: basic ventilation and forced air ventilation. The string pull is used to
change from one speed to another.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
NOTE: The power supply for the fan MUST be switched off before any type of maintenance and cleaning.
CLEANING THE FAN
The cover panel and surface of the fan should be cleaned often to avoid dust and dirt being drawn into it. Thermex recommend that the fan be
wiped down at least once a week.
A cloth moistened with water and a detergent should be used for cleaning the cover panel and fan.
CLEANING THE FILTER AND HEAT RECOVERY CORE
It is important that the filter and heat recovery core are kept clean in order to ensure that the heat recovery core works as efficiently as possible.
They should be cleaned at least two times a year.
The filter and heat recovery core are cleaned as follows:
1
Remove the front panel from the fan.
4
Remove the fan.
2
Carefully remove the caps by using a sharp in-
strument.
NOTE: Be especially careful to avoid scratching
the fan.
5
Pull the heat recovery core out of the pipe in the
wall.
