Check:
• Carry out a visual liquid end check
• Check the metering hose for leaks
• Check the hose connections for leaks
Shorter maintenance intervals may be required depending upon the
chemicals metered and the operating conditions.
Replace the metering hose (see "Repairs").
GUIDELINE
Depending on the operating conditions, the feed rate can drop over
time. If the application demands a constant feed rate, replace the
metering hose every 300 operating hours.
The motor is maintenance free.
9 Repairs
CAUTION
• The rotating motor can trap fingers.
• Disconnect the pump from the power supply and ensure
that it cannot be switched on again while work is being
carried out on the equipment.
TAKE CARE
• Protect yourself against potentially hazardous chemicals
(safety goggles, protective clothing etc.).
• Depressurise the system.
• Empty the metering hose and rinse thoroughly with a
suitable agent.
• Rotate the rotor in a clockwise direction only.
Replace metering hose if it is defective or worn (see also "Device
overview"):
Detach suction and discharge hoses from their connectors
Use a screwdriver to carefully loosen the transparent cover from
the pump housing
Remove the hose connector (left) from its fitting.
