Refer to the main robbe catalogue for information about
tools and aids to building.
Sequence of assembly
Please study the plan, the illustrations and the brief accom-
panying texts, referring constantly to the Parts Lists, to
ensure that you have a clear understanding of the individu-
al stages of construction.
The Parts Lists are in numerical sequence; they do not
necessarily reflect the sequence of assembly.
Key to the letters preceding the numbers in the Parts List:
F
= Wing
L, S = Tail panels
R
= Fuselage
RC
= Power system, receiving system, final work
You will need a perfectly flat, true building board for con-
structing this model. The plan should be taped down on the
building board.
Cover the surface with plastic film to prevent the parts
sticking to it.
The Appendix includes an overall drawing showing the indi-
vidual laser-cut sheets. The Parts Lists include letters which
identify the sheets; this information will help you locate the
individual components. The parts themselves are shown on
the plan together with their Parts List number.
Don't separate the laser-cut parts immediately; it is best to
release them from the sheets only when you need them for

the next stage of assembly. Compare each part with the
drawing on the plan before reaching for the glue bottle.
Temperature fluctuations can cause paper to change its
dimensions. This means that the machine-cut parts may not
be exactly the same length as those shown on the plan. If
there is any discrepancy, the pre-cut parts are always the
correct size.
These instructions describe the construction of the basic
airframe, i.e. wing panels, tail panels and fuselage.
With the bare airframe complete, the next stage is to cover
the individual components, then install the servos, the main
undercarriage, the power system and the remaining RC
system components.
It is advisable to trial-fit all parts beforehand, and carry out
any minor trimming required before gluing them in place.
We recommend that you use epoxy and robbe Speed Type
(cyano-acrylate, "cyano") for all this model's glued joints.
Fast-setting white glue is a useful alternative.
Read and observe the instructions supplied by the individu-
al adhesive manufacturers.
Allow all glued joints to harden thoroughly before procee-
ding.
All directions, such as "right-hand", are as seen from the
tail of the model, looking forward.
The Parts Lists
Parts marked "N.I." are not included in the kit.
Radio control system
For this model you will need a radio control system with at
least four channels, in conjunction with four servos.
An electronic speed controller with BEC function is required
to control the brushless motor.
3
Please consider the installation of your receiving system
components before you start construction.
If you intend to install a system other than the one we
recommend, you can still follow the general installation
shown, but you may have to make allowance for minor dif-
ferences in component size.
Set the servos to centre (transmitter sticks and trims cen-
tral) before installing them in the model. If the servos are fit-
ted with output discs or levers, remove them at this stage.
The flight battery
The model can be flown either with a two-cell or a three-cell
LiPo battery.
A two-cell pack is ample for normal flying, but the three-cell
alternative makes for a more sprightly model which is capa-
ble of simple aerobatics.
The same propeller can be used with either battery.
If you switch between two-cell and three-cell batteries,
remember to check the Centre of Gravity (CG) before flying
again (see the section entitled "Balancing").
