7. Configuration / 8. Connecting PU-448 programming unit
The measuring range is configurable between -50 ... +250 °C (-58 ... +482 °F). The
configuration software checks the desired measuring range and will only accept permissible
values. Intermediate values are configurable - the smallest increment is 0.1 °C or 0.1 °F. The
thermometers are delivered configured to customer specifications within the configurable
limits.
Please note:
The measuring range of the thermometer is limited by the application range of the
measuring element, not by the setting range of the transmitter.
Maximum permissible temperatures:
Without neck tube: -50 ... +150 °C (-58 ... +302 °F)

With neck tube: -50 ... +250 °C (-58 ... +482 °F)

At the case with transmitter: 85 °C (185 °F)
■
Temperature at the connector: max. 85 °C (185 °F)
