Conversion and Extension

The CL03/CL03-XL series valve system, can easily be extended
by populating spare valve positions or by adding additional valve
positions. It is also possible to separate the VS into additional
pressure zones by sealing off the air channels with blanking
plugs between the subbases.
The warranty only applies to the delivered configuration.
To ensure the IP69K protection after a modification, use the
torques specified in these instructions and also make sure that
all seals are correctly seated in their sealing slot. To check all
seals, pressurize the ventilation port "Vent" up to 0.3 bar and
then check for leakages by using soap water.
Risk of damage to the VS
Too high pressure when connecting compressed air to the
exhaust air connection may damage the unit.

Do not exceed 0.7 bar (for CL03) or 0.3 bar (for CL03-XL)
when connecting compressed air to the "Vent" port.

Assigning spare valve positions

To make use of free valve positions, that is, fit valves onto
subbases that previously have been closed off by blanking
plates, carry out the following steps.
– Make sure that the system is not under voltage or
pressure.
– When mounting, ensure that all contacts are straight and
that all seals are correctly inserted.
