Risk of damage to valves
Connection R, the pilot control exhaust, must never be closed
as this may damage the valves. Neither must the connection
"Vent" in the end plate be closed.
O
Make sure that connection R is open and preferably
provided with a silencer.
O
Connect the exhaust air connection "Vent" to a tube that
exhausts the air outside the wet zone. Alternatively, if the
VS is mounted in a protected area, for example in a
cabinet, you can also fit a silencer to "Vent".
6.4
Electrical connection
These instructions will only describe connection of versions
with multipole plug.
For electrical connection of versions with link structure, see the
respective manual.
6.4.1 Valve control with multipole plug
There are two controls (connector pins) permanently assigned
to valve solenoids 12 and 14 for each valve position.
O
Only solenoid 14 must be connected for single solenoid
valves. The second control for solenoid 12 remains unused.
O
The following assignments are made in the 3/2-way valves:
– Solenoid 14 and pneumatic connection 4.
– Solenoid 12 and pneumatic port 2.
O
With a CL03-XL subbase with "dual signal", the next subbase
will also be controlled at the same time. No additional
connection pin is required for this. This must be taken into
account with the control.
