25. Before a certain type of bread is
baked overnight, you should always
try out the recipe first to confirm the
correct mixing ratio of the individual
ingredients, that the dough is not too
stiff or thin, or that the quantity is not
excessive and overflow.
CAUTION:
The appliance becomes very hot during operation and maintains the heat during
some time after disconnection!
Never open the housing of the appliance. This can result in electric shock.
The manufacturer will not be liable in the event of incorrect assembly, improper or incorrect use or if repairs are carried out by unauthorized
third parties.

START-UP

1. When unpacking the appliance, check to make sure
that all parts are present and undamaged.
2. Before using the appliance the first time, remove
all packaging materials and all loose parts from the
inside. Keep packaging materials away from children
– danger of suffocation!
3. Before the first use, rinse out the Backmeister
pan with warm water and mild dishwashing liquid and
clean the kneader.
4. Wipe off the outside of the appliance with a well
wrung-out damp cloth. Never immerse the appliance
in water.

26. Check the appliance, the wall socket
and the lead cable regularly for wear
or damage. In case the lead cable or
other parts appear damaged, please
send the appliance or the base to
our after sales service for inspection
and repair. Unauthorised repairs can
constitute serious risks for the user
and void the warranty.
5. Dry all parts thoroughly. Insert the baking pan in the
appliance.
6. Then, plug the plug into an electrical outlet and switch
on the appliance via the ON/OFF switch. The appliance
is now ready for operation and can be programmed.
7. Since smoke may occur the first time the appliance
baking heats up, we recommend that you allow the appliance
®
to run through the BACKPULVER program once with
an empty baking pan (note: If desired the kneader may
be inserted, but there is no need to also insert it) to
remove any residue on the heating elements.
8. Therafter you can start baking.
