WARNING
Risk of injury
If the protection cap remains attached to the
outlet port, the protection cap can fly off when
a device is connected.
Always detach the protection cap from the out-
let port.
Connecting the pressure reducer
Screw connection
1
Screw the connection nut onto the cylinder con-
nection.
2
Position the pressure reducer as required and
and tighten it manually. Do not use tools.

Yoke connection
1
Place the pin-index yoke onto the cylinder con-
nection in such way that the pins of the pressure
reducer face the bore holes of the cylinder con-
nection.
2
Press the pressure reducer and its pins into the
bore holes. Do not use excessive force, other-
wise pins and bore holes may be damaged.
3
Screw the pressure reducer onto the cylinder
connection, using the tommy screw. Do not use
tools.
Determining the available volume
Open the cylinder valve slowly for at least one full
revolution.
The pressure gauge at the pressure reducer
should display about 200 bar when the O
der is full. A lower pressure indicates a smaller
available volume:
total cylinder volume x pres-
sure indicated by pressure

WARNING
Risk of fire due to leakages
While the pressure reducer is connected to an
unopened gas cylinder, the connection nut may
become loose.
Always check that the connection nut on the
cylinder connection is tight before opening the
gas cylinder.
