9. Making a cut

BEFORE
PERFORMING
OPERATIONS, ENSURE THAT THE MATERIAL IS
PROPERLY SUPPORTED AGAINST THE STOP
ON THE WORKING SURFACE.
CUTTING THICKNESSES UP TO 220 mm
Using the relevant lever, secure the motor head as
shown in photo 13.

Set up the piece to be cut on the working
surface at the required dimension.

Start up the machine and wait until the cooling
water flows out over the cutting disc. Adjust the
flow of water using the water stopcock on the
disc guard (photo 13).

Proceed to cutting, moving the working surface
forward as shown in photo 14.

CUTTING THICKNESSES UP TO 280 mm
By regulating the position of the cutting head using
the relevant lever, it is possible to cut materials up
to 280 mm thick in two passes.
Raise the cutting head until it aligns with the two
reference points (photo 15).

Using the cutting set square, set up the piece to
be cut on the working surface at the required
dimension.

Start up the machine and proceed with the first
cut (photo 16).

Turn the piece through 180° and repeat the cut
(photo 17).
