The main display shows "dEPth" and wheel LEDs flash.
The number of recordings in a measurement campaign vary from 1 to 2021 for
one display and 1 to 673 for three displays. Use the wheel to select the number
of measurements to be performed.
Record your choice via "VALID" key.
"PRINT" mode allows you to transfer the selected measurement(s) at a
preprogrammed rate via the RS232 link.
It can be activated on all operating configurations, including with multiple
display.
"PRINT" mode is available on the basic version, but users require a RS232 cord
and REMOTE or ACQUISITION option.
Keep the "PRINT" key pressed down to access or exit this mode.
You can program rate from 0s to 10h among the following:
0s / 0.5s / 1s / 2s / 5s / 10s / 20s / 30s / 40s / 50s / 1min / 2min / 5min / 10min /
20min / 30min / 40min / 50min / 1h / 2h / 5h / 10h.
"REMOTE" mode allows you to control the multimeter from a PC.
A PC and several instruments can communicate if you install a RS232 multiport
board inside the PC.
A set of messages allow you to:
• configure the multimeter,
• configure measurements,
• read results.
"REMOTE" mode is activated via remote control, which locks the keyboard.
Displaying REMOTE
There are three ways of quitting the "REMOTE" mode:
via a serial link command,
-
-
pressing MENU,
-
turning the unit off, then turning it on again normally.
The speed > 9,600 bauds is reserved preferably for data transfer.
Automatic "STD BY" mode cuts off automatically if there has not been a key
or RS232 link command action after 1/2 hour.
If one of the "SURV", "PRINT", "STORE" or "REMOTE" modes is operating,
the "STD BY" mode is not validated.
