The following display indicates that the unit is ready to aspirate the selected
sample volume.
9. Place the tip in the sample solution and press the Start-button to aspirate 0.30 mL.
The next display indicates that the unit is ready to dispense the total volume
with blow-out.
10. Position the pipette to dispense and press the Start-button. The unit will dispense the full amount from the tip.
note: Most 3M Petrifilm Plates require 1 mL total volume. Refer to the 3M Petrifilm Plate package insert for complete information on volume
needed for the particular 3M Petrifilm Plate you are using.
The display now indicates that the unit is ready to repeat the dilution
sequence, beginning with the diluent volume aspiration.
11. Eject the disposable tip by pressing the tip ejector button twice, and repeat the series beginning with step 7.
