The correct water level setting depends upon the weight of the tape and the speed of the operation.
For fast operation, or when using heavy tape (such as reinforced tape), select a high water level.
For slow operation, or when using lighter tape (such as 35 lb paper tape), select a low water level.
To adjust the water level, loosen the regulator screw and move the regulator up or down (see Figure
6). In standard operating conditions, with 60 lb tape, leave the regulator screw in the center of the
slot.
