Regularly or when dirty

• Inspect the equipment for external damage and have it repaired if necessary.
• Expander
•
Clean the expander head with a solvent.
•
Remove deposits between the segments.
•
Spray the expander head with an anti-corrosive agent.
•
Grease the expander cone.
• Pusher tool
•
Clean the adaptors completely with a solvent.
•
Remove deposits from the contours of the adaptors.
•
Clean the contours of the adaptors with a solvent.
•
Lubricate the pusher tool bolts using machine oil.
•
Grease the guide rod.
•
Spray the pusher head with an anti-corrosive agent.
Bi-annually
• Have the device inspected in accordance with DIN VDE 0701-1 and DIN VDE 0702 by a qualified
electrician or a Novopress workshop.
Annually
• Have the expander/ pusher tool inspected by a Novopress workshop.

disposal is punishable by law.
We recommend that disposal be carried out by authorised specialist companies.
