4 Freezing
If the control is turned to the freeze setting, temperature can be
lowered to about –10 °C (depending on the ambient tempera-
ture). The freeze setting should not be used continuously for a
longer period.

Switching off

The coolbox is switched off by turning the control knob to "0".
6 Cleaning
Clean the box regularly. Switch it off by turning the control knob to "0". Wipe
the in- and outside using a mild, unscented detergent. Do not use strong, or
abrasive cleaners, scouring powders, wire wool or solvents as these may
damage it. Wipe the box dry after cleaning.
7 Defrosting
Ice on the evaporator of the coolbox will impair its function. Remove the ice by
defrosting. Switch off the box, remove all foodstuffs and allow the ice to melt.
Do not use any tools which could damage the surfaces. Clean as above.
8 When the coolbox is switched off
If the coolbox is not to be used for a period of time, it should be defrosted and
thoroughly cleaned inside. To avoid bad odours, take care not to fully close
the lid to allow air to circulate inside to box.
9 Maintenance
Rub the lid seals with talc once every year.
