Operation
■ Plug in the appliance and place it on a
l evel, heat­resistant surface or on the
s torage bag.
■ Turn on with on/off switch. LEDs one
and two will glow and the third will flash.
The default temperature setting of the
a ppliance is 150°C.
■ As soon as the set temperature is
r eached, the LEDs will glow continuously.
You can now start curling your hair.

Setting the temperature

By pressing the + or – button you can
change the temperature setting in 25°C
steps from approx.100 ­ 200°C. The c urrent
temperature is indicated by the glowing
LEDs. The LED for the set temperature
flashes until this temperature is reached.
If the temperature falls momentarily during
use, the appliance will heat back up again
(LED flashes).

Automatic shut-off

This curling tong has an automatic shut­off
safety feature. After approx. 30 minutes the
appliance automatically switches to standby
mode. Only the third LED glows.
To reactivate the appliance, the + or –
b utton must be pressed. The appliance
auto m atically reverts to the default 150°C
t emperature setting and can be used as
n ormal.
Use
W Risk of burns!
Do not let the appliance come into contact
with your skin (face, scalp or ears).
■ Only use the appliance on dry hair.
■ Use only on untreated, healthy hair.
■ Use less frequently on permed, coloured
or affected hair.
Note: Fine hair responds very quickly to
the treatment. The even heat emission is
e specially gentle on the hair.
■ Comb the hair and section it into even
strands (about 2­3 cm wide). The finer
the strands, the tighter the curl, as all the
hair comes into contact with the heated
c urling tong.
■ Open the curling tong by pressing on the
clip.
■ Insert the strand of hair and close the clip
again. Fig. A
■ Now pull the curling tong down to the
ends of the hair and turn to wind up the
strand. Fig. B
■ Leave the curling tong in the hair for a
few seconds to shape the curl.
■ Release the strand of hair by repeatedly
opening the lever with small movements
while removing the curling tong side-
ways.
