Maintenance
1. After each working cycle, the sensitive part can
be cleaned with a soft toothbrush and a diluted
HCl-solution (0.1 and 1 mol/L), and then rinsed
with 20% NaCl solution.
2. If the electrode is not in use it must be stored with
the electrode tip immersed in Buffer pH = 4.01 / Na
3.9M.
3. If an electrode is inadvertently stored in a dry con-
dition for several days, the membrane must be im-
mersed in Buffer pH = 4.01 / Na
6 hours.
4. The plug-in head should occasionally be checked
for possible traces of moisture. If necessary, clean
it thoroughly with deionized water or alcohol and
then dry it off carefully.
7
Removal of dirt and residue
With a soft toothbrush and water any dirt / residue can
easily be removed from the electrode. Mild washing
agents can also be used.
Warning! Solutions containing hydrofluorides dam-
age the pH sensitive part of the electrode.
8
Disposal
It is the user's responsibility to dispose of the sensor
in a proper manner. The sensor can contain electronic
components that require disposal such that no per-
sons or the environment are endangered.
9
Guarantee
On manufacturing defects, 12 months after delivery.
10
Storage conditions
We recommend that the electrodes are stored at room
temperature. Keep the electrode tip in the supplied cap
with Buffer pH = 4.01 / Na
