InPro 485X i pH electrode
1
Introduction
METTLER TOLEDO's combination pH electrodes with
pNa reference system and temperature sensor offer re-
liable pH measurement in solutions with a near stable
concentration of sodium ions. This electrode offers top
performance in harsh brine processes with oxidizing
compounds e.g. chlorine.
Please read through these operating instructions
carefully before commissioning, in order to ensure
trouble-free use.
We recommend that you only operate the electrode
in combination with original parts from METTLER
TOLEDO. Operation and maintenance should be car-
ried out only by trained personnel and staff who have
read and understood the operating instructions.

Safety instructions
When cleaning or calibrating the electrode using
solutions containing acids or alkalis, both protective
spectacles and protective gloves should be worn. The
sensor can contain up to 0.3 % boric acid by weigh.
Do not touch the electrode at the plug-in contacts, as
electrostatic discharges can damage the electronics.
