5.2 Replacing the ribbon

The order number for the ribbon cartridge can be found in chapter [Consumables } Page 14].
1 Remove the paper cover (1).
2 Pull paper out of printing unit (2).
3 Remove ribbon cartridge, by pressing in arrow direction
(3).
4 Insert the new ribbon cartridge. If necessary, take up slack
with tensioning wheel (4).

paper } Page 6].

5.3 Cleaning the housing

Since the printer housing is made of top grade, resistant materials, all commercially available mild cleaning
agents may be used.
NOTICE
Damage to printer due to inappropriate cleaning methods
The printer housing is made from high quality, resistant materials and can be damaged by certain
cleaning agents, solvents or abrasives. Any liquid that enters the housing may damage the printer.
1 Use water and a mild detergent to clean the printer.
2 Wipe off any spills immediately.
3 Prevent liquid from entering the interior of the printer.

an authorized service engineer will ensure consistent weighing accuracy over the long term and extend the
service life of the instrument.
