3. Press the parking brake pedal down and then
release it to disengage the parking brake.
4. Carefully press down one of the speed pedals. The
speed increases the more the pedal is pressed
down. Use pedal (1) to move forward, and pedal (2)
to reverse.
5. Release the speed pedal to engage the brakes.
6. Lower the cutting deck.

To operate the product, FR 2312 M

CAUTION: To prevent damage to the
gearbox, always stop the product and
disengage the engine before you change
gears.
1. Select cutting height (1–5) with the cutting height
lever.
2. Start the engine.

3. Press the parking brake pedal down and then
release it to disengage the parking brake.
4. Press the clutch pedal down and select a gear.
Select gear 1–4 when you cut grass with the product.
Select gear 4–5 for transport of the product.
CAUTION: If a gear does not engage
immediately, do not use force. Release
the clutch pedal, press it down again and
try to engage the gear again.
Note: You can start the product on all 5 gears.
5. Slowly release the clutch pedal.
6. Lower the cutting deck.
7. To brake, press the parking brake/speed brake
pedal.
