3. Screw driving
WARNING: To use screwdriver bits, a uni-
versal holder with SDS-plus shaft (accessory) is
required.
Clean the adapter shaft and lightly grease the
insertion end before inserting.
Insert the universal holder with a twisting mo-
tion into the tool holder until it locks. The uni-
versal holder locks itself. Check the locking by
pulling on the universal holder.
Insert a screwdriver bits into the universal
holder. To remove the universal holder, pull the
plastic sleever to the rear, hold it in this posi-
tion and remove the universal holder from the
tool holder.
MAINTENANCE
Danger of injury!
During normal operation, if anything happens,
the power supply should be cut off at once and
the tool should be checked and repaired.
Take the machine to the nearest Service Center
in your location.
Before all care and maintenance work:
• Turn the machine off.
• Wait until the machine has come to a com-
plete standstill.
• Pull out the power plug.
CLEANING
Clean the machine with a moist cloth and some
soft soap. Do not use any detergents or solu-
tion; these may cause corrosion of the plastic
parts of the machine. Make sure that no water
reaches the inside of the machine.

Keep the vent passage clear from dirt, clean off
the accumulated dust and oil dirt periodically.
SERVICING
There are no parts on the inside of the machine
which require maintenance by the user. Should
the machine fail to function after a long opera-
tion time, have it checked by a technician.
REPLACEMENT PARTS
Danger of accident!
Parts which were not reviewed and approved
by the manufacturer can damage the machine
and can cause serious injuries.
Use only original parts for replacing old parts,
particularly for safety mechanisms and cutting
tools.
CARBON BRUSH
The brushes should be checked periodically
and worn-out brushes should be replaced in
time. After replacing, inspect whether the new
brushes can move freely in the brush holder.
Keep running the motor for 15 minutes to
match the contact of the brushes and commu-
tator.
