The ppli nce is not to be oper ted in the open position.
1 – Prehe ting
Before you connect the device to m ins, m ke cert in th t
the ppli nce is closed nd th t the temper ture control (2)
is in position «I».
Now pl ce the device upright on its feet (7) nd connect it
to m ins. The red l mp (4) will illumin te. Turn the temper -
ture control to the desired setting. Then the green l mp (3)
will switch on.
As soon s the temper ture control h s re ched the preset
temper ture, the green l mp (3) will switch o .
2 – Pl cing food into the s ndwich to ster
All ingredients used must be re dy to e t!
Do not use ny uncooked me t or other r w ingredients
th t require prior prep r tion so th t they re s fe to e t.
The s ndwich to ster does not cook or se r food.
We recommend th t you h ve your s ndwich ingredients
re dy for pl cement into the to ster prior to or during the
w rm-up ph se.
To m ke 2 s ndwiches, you will need 4 slices of to st – the
best sizes re medium to l rge slices.
To give your s ndwiches
crispiness, spre d butter or m rg rine on one side of e ch
slice.
With the buttered side f cing down, pl ce
pl te nd dd the desired ingredients. M ke sure you do not
pl ce n excessive mount of toppings on the slice to prevent
the ingredients from being squeeze out of the s ndwich during
the to sting process. We recommend you le ve bout
fr me of uncovered bre d round the edges of e ch slice.
