SF30 Filter Unit
The optional SF30 Filter Unit is connected in series with the output of the Secondary Current Injection Test Set. It is
used to correct the output waveform, distorted by saturated cores in the device under test (see waveform diagram,
page 12).
It has tappings for the 1 A, 2 A, 5 A, 10 A and 30 A ranges and takes the form of a tuned series circuit consisting of
a capacitor and an inductor, designed to exclude frequencies other than the fundamental. Sockets are provided to
select either 50 Hz or 60 Hz. As with the SCITS100 itself, there is an earth terminal for use as required.
