Refer to the patient sling user manual for more information.
The patient MUST be in a seated position first. Use the head
section of the bed to get the patient upright then move legs
over the side of the bed.

Detail C — Brakes
1. Instruct the patient to hold onto the hand grips on both sides of
the stand assist lift (Detail A).
2. Instruct the patient to lean back into the standing or transfer
sling.
WARNING!
– Stand Assist Slings - Before lifting the patient,
make sure the bottom edge of the sling is
positioned on the lower back of the patient and
the patient's arms are outside the sling.
– Transfer Stand Assist Slings - Before lifting the
patient, make sure the bottom edge of the sling is
at the base of the spine and the patient's arms are
outside the sling.
