• Use and store the multimeter under normal temperatures. Extreme temperatures may
shorten the life of the device or damage the battery.
• Handle the multimeter with care. Dropping it may damage the circuit boards or the housing
and may cause the DVM92 to malfunction.
• Replace an old or weak battery with a fresh one of the required size and type.
Remove the battery during long periods of inactivity. This will protect the multimeter from
possible leakage.
• Disconnect the test probes prior to opening the housing.
• A blown fuse should be replaced with an identical one.

• Do not use this device in case of malfunction or if anomalies are detected. Have it repaired
by qualified personnel.
• Do not use the multimeter unless the back cover is in place and fully fastened.
• Use a soft cloth and a mild detergent for cleaning purposes. Never use abrasives or solvents
on the meter.

3. Operating instructions

3.1. Measuring DC Voltage

1. Connect the black test lead (-) to the "COM" jack and the red test lead (+) to the "V/Ω" jack.
2. Select the appropriate V
the source or load to be tested.
3. The measured value and the polarity of the red test lead are displayed on the LCD.
Remark : Set the FUNCTION switch to the highest range and gradually work your way down if
the voltage range is unknown beforehand.
